Introduction:  This course unit provides a complete overview of the Management Process and enriches the students with the knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes about management. 

Intended Learning Outcomes: After successful completion of this course unit, the student should be able to;

·         Explain the competencies of a manager

·         Illustrate the management process

·         Conceptualize theoretical aspects of decision making in an organizational setup.

·         Analyze organizational environment and identify SWOT of an organization.

·         Develop a plan for self and an organization.

·         Explain the concept of organizing and evaluate organizational designs.

·         Explain leadership concepts, theories, and practical applications of those in organizations.

·         Explain the concept of controlling and practical applications of it in organizations.

·         Analyze organizational and interpersonal communication and initiate communication improvement interventions.

·         Illustrate motivational theories and use motivational theories in analyzing organizational issues and developing viable solutions.

·         Improve oral and written communication skills using English language

·         Improve team and leadership skills
